Studio Launch and The Evening Times interview

SO... it has been a while since I've had the chance to blog. So I will be updating you all over the next week as to everything I have been able to work on the past few months. It's been exciting!

I was really pleased to be asked to do an interview for the The Evening Times by Rachel Loxton just ahead of my studio party. That's right , I have a wonderful little studio space in Glasgow city centre which is a whole other blog! I am situated in a building with some very interesting creative and generally lovely people which has been so nice.

Directly below me is RIG a bike shop ran by a very hard working team headed by owners Brian and Ingie. They also have a really cool outdoor space  ( click link to see pics of this amazing space) out the back which they so very kindly let me use, as well as the bike shop and cafĂ© area to hold a studio launch in order to let people know where my studio is located, show some key looks from my debut #HOMEGIRLSCOLLECTION and generally have a nice night. I was really fortunate to be put in touch with Gary Lawson @ Branded Drinks who kindly agreed to sponsor the event by providing us with a whole load of Furstenberg for then evening which was much appreciated and helped get the evening going. I was really pleased at the turn out for the evening whith some familiar faces in the shape of  hair guru Anna Wade who, along with  MUA Molly J.Sheridan added the finishing touches to my lovely models for the evening.

I was lucky enough to have the support of various people, especially the wonderful Laura St.Jude for whom, as you know, I have worked on a few stage pieces. She very kindly performed for a captivated audience for which I was very grateful! Nothing like an absolute fox with the most seductive and memorising voice to add a certain good vibe to an evening.

The talented photographer Kirsten Kerr who shot my first lookbook as well as creating her own mini look book with Joanne Crawford of the #HOMEGIRLSCOLLECTION which you can view here, also came along which was really nice especially as she sent me a few pics of the evening. Also a big thank you to Rab the man behind Rabbie denim a constant source of encouragement as well as the lovely Amanda Blackwood who has been a supporter. Also THE AMAZING SNAKEHEADS who came along and who are kindly using my original tshirt design on the up and coming NME tour.

It was also really nice to meet some new people who came along and showed support including the lovely including a few of Glasgow's Fashion girls Silvia Pellegrino of CHOUCHOU COUTURE , Miss Betty Swallocks and Miss Beewaits.
